Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

Was there something that happened that made you scared of ghosts?

Huh? Um... [how dare you ask me about a thing canon doesn't even remotely touch upon] Lechter brings me back books from missions sometimes, and there were some real scary stories...

And then we ran into the ones in Legram...

[It's a very pretty, if somewhat inedible looking color.]

You saw them yourself?

[Millium "death tolls in the thousands" Orion does not know the first thing about what looks edible.]

Yeah. The castle was haunted with all sorts of spooky things that we had to fight through to get to the big spooky thing n' even then we couldn't even really beat it, something else came in n' saved us, and...

[it was all VERY DISTRESSING Kino]

Big spooky thing?

Ummm...

It was really big and tall and see-through and glowy and blue and looked like this big skeleton king guy in a robe?

[She tried.]

Hmm.

[Kino thinks this over.]

I once met with blue figures in an old mansion, but they never attacked. Just watched.

[doublelammy]

Yeah, uh. These attacked us. These attacked us a lot.

[Weh...]

It was really scary.

How did you fight them off?

[doublelammy]

Same way we fight everything. Swords, arts, n' Lammy.

And then whoever helped us at the end threw this golden spear to kill the big guy. It was cool.

Can guns be used against ghosts?

[Asking for a friend.]

[doublelammy]

Prolly! We didn't have any gunners in our group to test with, though.

Then if ghosts really do become a problem... we'll just have to find out then.
