Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

Ehehe. It's not that big a deal. Sharing is caring! I think that's what I've heard, anyway...

[A pause.]

Hey, Sakura, while you're here... What does "chan" mean?

[She tilts her head a little. This is far from the first time she's heard it, but it's, well, foreign to her and she really hasn't thought to ask up until now.]

[clearities]

Mmhm. [ She sounds rather pleasant, but then Millium asks that question and. Well. How does she explain it... ] Well, back at home, I refer to all my close female friends with -chan... since it's an honorific. That's all there is to it. Like I call everyone using -san to be polite.

[doublelammy]

[Millium nods along with the explanation.]

So it's like calling people Mr. or Ms., except you get to use it with friends, too?

Does that mean you're Sakura-chan?

[She is! Trying to learn this thing!]

[clearities]

Yeah, that's right! Although I wouldn't use it with people that older than me.

[doublelammy]

But we're the same age, so it's still okay, right?

Can I call you Sakura-chan?

[clearities]

Yeah, it's fine. I don't mind at all.

[doublelammy]

Sa~ku~ra~chan~

[She seems happy about this!]

Hee. That's way longer than any nicknames I usually give, but your name doesn't really work for that... this is cute, though!

[clearities]

[ Sakura seems also rather pleased, clapping her hands together with her usual smile. ]

It's okay, I wouldn't have minded either way. If you gave me a nickname or not.

[doublelammy]

I mean, sure, but nicknames are way more cute, y'know?

[clearities]

Do you have any nickname ideas...?

[doublelammy]

That's the problem. Normally I just shorten it and toss an "y" on the end n' call it a day? But your name doesn't really work for that.

Sakky... Kurry?

[Yeah, no.]

[clearities]

The second one really sounds like curry...

[doublelammy]

Yeah. Which is delicious, but, um. Sorry, Sakura-chan, I don't think I could ever call you spicy.

[clearities]

Yeah, it really is good, although you're right... I wouldn't call myself spicy, either.

[doublelammy]

Definitely too sweet to be spicy.
