Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

The god worshipped by the people here. Or his son. Their relationship is somewhat ambiguous.

Ohhh... so it's their version of Aidios...? ...' daughter? I didn't know gods n' goddesses could have kids...

Clearly you haven’t heard of Zeus. That guy had tons of kids, and, like, a million lovers. He’s a god, too.

Yeah, on my world, there are gods and goddesses from every culture. And a lot of them have kids and lovers. Jesus is one of the only ones who was pure, I think? I’m not entirely sure.

In mine, we just have Aidios. The Sky Goddess.

Just one? Does everyone in your world believe in this Sky Goddess?

Basically, yeah.

I mean... there are some super old religions that some people still believe in? 'Cause Aidios doesn't care if you worship those too, but even the people that do still believe in Aidios.

And has anyone ever seen Aidios?

...I dunno.

I never really got educated in that sorta stuff. Goin' to Sunday School n' whatnot wasn't real high up on Gramps' list of priorities for me.

Yeah, I get it. I guess, no matter where you go, lots of religions are similar.

So that makes them similar to the Legendaries from my world, I suppose. Though more on the "from every culture" front than the "kids and lovers" front.

Legendaries... That sounds cool. Are they a group of gods or goddesses?

Few of them have confirmed genders, so it could be either. Though generally most of them stay in their own region and have their own domains.

That makes sense. That’s more like my world, though people all over bring their faith with them if they wander, usually. So you can get a lot of places that have people that worship different gods.

That's true. And there are a few legendary groups that cross regions. Such as the Kanto bird trio and Johto's Lugia.

Bird... trio.... Wait, are these Legendaries more Pokémon? [you worship animals???]

Nah, I just think he liked to have a good time. [knowing wink]

So he is a part of your belief system?

[he shakes his head] Not mine, I’m not a real religious sort. But if I were a god-worshipper, I wouldn’t mind Zeus. He’s cool.

[At least they both have some familiarity with the idea of gods? I'm just saying, it could be a lot stupider.]

It seems to be unusual. Their god more frequently chooses humans to represent himself. Evidently this decision marked a major turning point in their history.
