Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[Keith's just going to watch Jughead and Cosmo for a moment -- but nah, it's fine. Jughead doesn't need the explicit warning about Cosmo being drooly or anything. Clearly. Cosmo just seems content with the attention.]

He's pretty smart. Understands pretty much everything I'm saying.

[Ah, but then there's worry coloring his expression.]

He can also teleport.Or at least...he used to be able to.

[If Jughead might mind the drool, he certainly doesn't show it. He's pretty content to just pet the incredibly large puppy.]

[Large puppy is delighted with Jughead's lack of concern re: drooling and will be busy getting the stuff on Jughead's hands / shirt in the process of nuzzling.]

Yeah. The Quantum Abyss isn't exactly easy to navigate. It's an area filled with asteroids and debris left over from dying stars. Teleporting is how Cosmo got around from place to place.

[Which again is why Keith's still frowning really. If Cosmo's ever in danger, nis primary means of defense and offense have been taken away from him. Concerning.]

[It’s okay, Jughead can just wipe all of that on Keith when “accidentally” brushing against him.]

Must make playing fetch pretty interesting. [More ear scratches for the good boy. He’s not even looking at Keith.] Guess Sarge thought teleporting away would be too easy?
