Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

Oh my gosh... I bet he was so cute! Not like he isn't adorable now that he's a big puppy! Isn't that right? You're a cute boy, aren't you~?

[She glances up at Keith.]

Does he like pets?

I don't -- [Ugh. Damn his soft spot for Cosmo. Keith just can't help it though, he raised Cosmo and is just so proud of him that other people praising the space wolf is just ... ugh. Keith sighs; he's not winning the scowling battle today.]

Yeah. Go say hi, Cosmo.

[Space wolf does not need to be told twice. He trots on over to Milium and presses his nose into her arm.]

If you get slobber on you, I'm not doing your laundry.

I've got plenty of clothes, I'm not worried!

Hi there, big buddy~! Who's a good boy?

[Cosmo will receive all the pets. That Millium is holding herself back from throwing her arms around this dog in a full-out hug and nuzzle is an impressive feat, really.]

[Cosmo is an excellent boy and will nuzzle Milium gently, like he's being mindful that she is a tiny and he is indeed a big puppy. Keith will watch them for a moment, expression fond despite himself. You're not being super cute or anything, Milium. [

I'm trying to show him around town so he knows where things are. Want to tag along?

[An excellent boy?! Cartesio is blessed.]

Sure! I was just kinda wanderin' anyway, it'd be way more fun with a friend.

[And to Cosmo] And a new friend~!

A friend, huh...

[See, that actually gets Keith looking a little thoughtful, maybe smiling a little at how Milium can just annnounce that they're friends without having explicitly discussed it before. He doesn't make friends easily and kind of has to be told he's a friend before he really just accepts that as the new baseline, so... in a way? It's appreciated.

Cosmo seems quite pleased by all thie friendship talk as well, circling around Milium once before nudging her leg fently.]

I guess Cosmo's fine with it, too. What do you want to show him first?

[And all that introspection is, naturally, lost on this tiny ball of energy, who just seems thrilled to be being poked by a space woof. But either way, the friendship contract is sealed, and Keith is trapped now.]

Ooh, have you shown him the ice cream shop yet? That's, like, the best place here!
