Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[She pauses, thinking that over.]

Depends what I have memorized. I don't exactly have sheet music here.

[silvertongueheir]

[A slight shrug.] I'll make it more general then. Do you know any ballroom dance songs?

[robitussin]

You mean like a waltz? Sure, yeah. Why, though?

[silvertongueheir]

It's my preferred type of music, that's all. I do know how to do the waltz, though in this case I lack a partner.

[robitussin]

[She pauses for a moment, thinking, before she starts to play.]

Something like this?

[silvertongueheir]

[He nods slightly, closing his eyes and smiling. His feet seem to tap out patterns on the floor as she plays, although he doesn't actually move from his position.]

[robitussin]

[She keeps on playing, humming along lightly herself as she goes on. Once the song finishes, she glances his way.]

It's been a while since I've played that.

[silvertongueheir]

[He looks a little embarrassed at being caught doing the movements.] You played it well, though. How long have you been practicing?

[robitussin]

Since I was a kid. I started when I was... maybe six or seven? Not sure.

[silvertongueheir]

[He nods. He supposes that makes sense, with how good she is at it.] Would you mind if I used this place on occasion? I've also practiced for a while, and I would prefer my skills not get overly rusty.

[robitussin]

[A beat.]

Yeah, sure. As long as you don't misuse it. I'm calling dibs whenever I want them, though.

[silvertongueheir]

Thank you. And your terms are perfectly reasonable.
