A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?
Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.
The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:
The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

Airgetlam will stay up there for a minute or two, then slowly begin its descent.]

But he's scrambling as soon as he can reach the floor. Fuck this!]
...I'd ask if you could fly out but I think people have tried that.

[But who cares about that?]
But how was it? Pretty cool, right?

.. It was interesting. [Him admitting he was scared or that he enjoyed it for a moment? Never! ] It was weird. Not bad. But the closest I've had to flying is being thrown by an explosion.

[She doesn't trust the Sergeant any farther than she could throw him, is her point here.]
Well, I hope Lammy's a lot better than an explosion.

[He's been being good as rebellion ]
It is. I'm not running for my life this time either.

Maybe you guys are from, like... parallel worlds? Or history changes a heck of a lot over those 70 years.

Most people where I'm from started using western names after the war. Makes it easier if you've gotta deal with the military police.

CW suicide
[He could have held back on that. Most people would have, but he just says it like it's the weather. Cause he really doesn't care about them.]

And then you picked Wayne? Or did someone else pick it for you?
What was it before?
no subject
Yeah, I picked it after the war when lots of other people started doing it. Knew it was an American name cause I overheard it.
I'm not sure why you're asking. It's not like I've used it in years. [He rolls his eyes, but shrugs.] ...Kouta. It's nothing special or anything. Surprised the old bastard didn't write it down just to be a pain.
no subject
[But she listens.]
Kouta. ...It's kinda cute, y'know? Ehe, but I think Wayne suits you better. A cute name totally wouldn't work for a guy like you~
no subject
No. Stop. I get enough of that cutesy bullshit from Stella and Meryl when they saw it on my work documents.
no subject
E~he~he~ do~ ya? Wonder what it is they call you...
Kouty? ...Mm, no, you're Eastern, they don't do nicknames like that, right? Well, there's Sakura-chan, so... Kouta-chan?
...Kou-chan?
[Wayne is doomed.]
