Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

A few times, I've found myself in countries that were at war. One time the women were rising up against the men because up until then, the men had treated them like second-class citizens.

[streetwolf]

Ohh...[He winces.]

Can't really blame em for that. If it's anything like where I'm from then they were probably treated like shit. Hell the same thing happened there for the people who live in the night. It was great seeing those old bastards' faces when a little lady in a pretty dress pulled a gun on them.

Yeah... It was a different country, but there was one where a serial killer would target people in the alleyways like that.

Well, it was probably three of them.

[streetwolf]

Target people like old bastards or pretty ladies in dresses? ...Cause I've seen two that went for the later. I know one's dead now for sure.

[If Wayne knew English things, he'd probably have been less surprised by Jack and his knife.]

Either. If they were wandering around the alleyways, they were a target.

Because of that, they made off with one of my persuaders.

[streetwolf]

Okay, you're going to have to give a lot more of the story here. So you ran into a serial killer, they took your gun but you're still here?

[quickpersuader]

Yeah... that country had laws against carrying weapons. It seems I he thought I would be a boring kill, but he took Woodsman for himself anyway.

[Her experiences in that country were. Vexing.]

[streetwolf]

So what, he didn't think you were worth killing? [It's getting a snort, then a laugh.]

Man, we've both lucked out there then. I know- knew a guy. Slashed the fuck outta me, let me go in the end cause 'I was too sad to finish off' or some shit.

[quickpersuader]

Well, I got him back for it later anyway. They were able to arrest him - or his brothers.

[One of the two. ...Three?]

If you say so. I'm not sure arresting him'll do a lot though.

Probably not, especially if they were triplets and not twins.

But that's not really my problem.
