Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[Whether Dabi intended the pun or not, Hawks cracks a grin at it and leans closer. Arms on either side of Dabi’s neck, elbows just resting on the back of the bench puts him at a very good vantage point to admire Dabi’s face.]

As long as you’re not the one dying to produce that headline. That’s not exactly something to crow home about.

[50/50, given that he's not opposed to using fire puns in equally terrible situations. Hearing it mirrored back at him makes him tut, it really was awful. ]

Did that once already, pretty bird. [ Too much information? Yeah, but in this case it kinda proves Dabi's point from earlier. And sometimes with Hawks, it's far too tempting to just hit back beside his better instincts. ]

[That's not what Hawks had been expecting Dabi would say-- if it wasn't said so easy, in a way only simple truth tends to come, he'd think his leg is being pulled. He doesn't let that stop himself from rolling on, however. Just tucks that bit of knowledge away for another day.]

Then there's no way you want to repeat it. Can't have your stories getting stale of all things.

You really have to save everyone, huh? [ That might sound biting and it kind of is, but he doesn't linger on it. ]

'm more interested in making the headline than being one nowadays. Can't let myself get rusty either.
