Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

Oh, hello dear... What is it you need?

Um... I was wondering if you guys knew where the person who writes the newspaper works! Or if you knew anything about them.

[cartesio]

You know, that's a bit of a pickle, ain't it? Everybody says, he's never in the office when they go by! Why, my neighbor said she's been by five times, just for a chat... He always just shows up, you know? Where the news is.

[clearities]

The office? Where's that? [ She can't help but blink curiously, just wondering where everything is-- there's still a lot that Sakura's unfamiliar with. ]

[cartesio]

Ohh... You know, down the road, 'bout a quarter mile, and then turn left at the park- oh, or maybe right? I can't quite remember.

[clearities]

It's okay if you don't remember. But I really appreciate you trying regardless. Thank you very much. [ She bows from the waist down, seemingly polite. ] I really appreciate it a lot.

[cartesio]

[ The woman puts a hand to her mouth, with a great smile. ]
