Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!
If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.
It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!
This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

WEDNESDAY - APRIL 4th
millium's wednesday of woe
[Millium is here, and there's a slice of pie that sits uneaten at her spot from yesterday.
Millium herself is standing in front of the jukebox, rapidly swiping her card and entering something quickly. She does this for a solid two to three minutes, before returning to her seat with a cheery smile on her face.
Any other residents of the diner will be greeted with the following for roughly the next half an hour:
♪♫♬WOMP WOMP WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT, OH-OH-OH-OH-OH♪♫♬
At first, it might just seem that this song is really long. Way longer than anyone who knows it will remember. But after the first three repetitions, it's likely other patrons will catch on to precisely what she's done.
After that, the song will finally, finally change.
♪♫♬It's not unusual to be loved by anyone...♪♫♬
And there might be some sighs of relief throughout the diner. It's a peaceful little interlude, a nice upbeat break from the aggressive what's new of the pussycat.
Unfortunately, a break is all it is. Because after it fades out...
♪♫♬WOMP WOMP WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT, OH-OH-OH-OH-OH♪♫♬
Millium Orion could not be any prouder of herself if she tried. Thanks for asking.]

She spends at least several minutes desperately entering her card and trying to select different songs, before she realizes that it's not going to work until the current selections are done. [Boxes mostly sorted and organized in his motel room (it's an absolute fire hazard in there), the most ridiculously armed in town is up and about once again. This morning, Keith is heading to the police station because there's information there that he wants corroborated. He enters the premises, sticking out like a sore thumb in his paladin armor, and starts looking around for wherever the police keep their records of previous cases.]

NEWSPAPER
It's said we shouldn't judge people for what they do if it doesn't hurt anyone, but people around the town keep wondering why the visitors express interest in the local junkyard. The most common theory seems to be they came to Cartesio to search for metal they may not have at the places they came from. The person in charge of watching over the junkyard informed they have picked up several knives from among the pile of scraps. Coupled with Mr. Keith's known affinity towards weapons, could it be the visitors are fans of weaponry? We invite our readers to mail your theories and thoughts.]
Strangely enough, the mailing address is blurry in all newspapers. Must be a printing error.
[In the meantime, the local clinic is starting to stock up on medicine to counter any cases of tetanus these explorations may bring.
Shark alert: After unforeseen circumstances, the shark alert is brought back after one day. Sharks are described as 'made of paper, and strangely cheerful'. This reporter's conclusion is that someone has a lot of free time in their hands.]

Some npc bothering
Around midday he stops at the abandoned building though. Going round the back to get inside. He doesn't go too far in, keeping within running distance of his entrance. ]
This place is a lot worse than I remembered it… Didn’t think the fire got this far…
[It's only mumbling and he pauses looking back over his shoulder when he hears someone approach.
Once it starts to get dark he heads to the Tavern. Not to drink, just to talk. It's not Rose's place or the blackmarket but there has to be some gossip here. So he settles at the bar, and starts badgering the bartender. Waving the debt card. ]
Just some juice. You know of any jobs going round for when this thing runs out?
[Even if that doesn't work he can eavesdrop. Drunk guys are dumb. He even tries the darts board for a bit. Some throws are amazing and some are so far off its a surprise no one got hit.
He'll head back to the motel… At some point.

cw suicide (park, specifically)
...or maybe the truth is that Dazai is just being useless, but all appearances. He starts his day in the park where-- he may just surprise you by appearing very suddenly, just hanging from a tree. Hanging upside down by his legs... it would seem that he's. Maybe testing the strength of the tree branch? Doing an exercise?? Knowing this man, it's probably Very Bad.
But later in the evening he stumbles into the tavern.
...ah if this doesn't just bring back memories.
Where he'll wistfully enjoy a strong drink or two at a slow pace. The deep, melancholic look on his face may indicate that this is your best chance to see past the ridiculous facade he's put up regarding certain subjects.]

in the morning, he spends a good amount of time in his room with the door open, which means you're welcome to visit! he is thinking about the past couple days, and he wants to do something fun with someone!
by the time he goes into the lobby of the motel, he's grinning. time to look for a pen and paper. the newspaper inspires him! he wants to do art! or maybe make stuff to play a game with. you may see him busily going around, looking for art supplies.
in the evening, Osomatsu has settled down some. he's getting homesick already. he ventures to the gas station to see if he can find some rust-b-gone, or something similar to that. it occurs to Osomatsu that he has absolutely no idea how to properly clean a knife. it's possible to see him looking confused as he walks through the few aisles]
