Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

[Osomatsu pauses, looking up from where he's been drawing on the floor. He's taped several pieces of paper together, to make one giant long rectangle-shaped sheet. and on the paper, he's started drawing something... it looks like a giraffe. he's got a box of crayons that he found from the gas station lying beside him]

Sakura-chan! [he remembered her name] I thought this place was lookin' kinda sad! So I wanted to get everyone to draw or write something on here so we could put it in the hallway, like a mural. [how simple]

[clearities]

Ohhh...

[ Even if it's simple, Sakura herself is rather simple-minded as well a good amount of the time while she can come up with rather unique things when it comes down to it. ]

I think that would be nice. It might cheer everyone up, too. I'd want to draw a penguin-san! And-- [ Her expression falls, just a little bit. ] I don't know if they're still here, but I'd like to do something for Lovepon-san and Mira-san, too.

[relieable]

[Sakura, don't make this sad. Osomatsu is trying to keep himself happy, and busy, and not think about people dying]

Huh? Them, too? [he sits up and taps his chin with his crayon] Do ya know if they liked animals?

[clearities]

I don't know, but... I think it's the effort that matters the most. I could make things that aren't animals, too!

[relieable]

[she can probably draw better than him. she's a cute girl, after all. Osomatsu grabs the box of crayons, then holds it out to her]

You're welcome t'draw whatever you want! Or write whatever you want. [within reason, though Osomatsu doesn't think he needs to warn Sakura about that. he, himself, is the one that needs to hold back, considering what his New Year's cards were like!]

[clearities]

I'll draw and write a lot...!

[ She nods excitedly, as she takes the box of crayons, looking at all the colors. ]

There'll be cute penguin-sans and bear-sans, too.

[relieable]

You like penguins and bears, then? [maybe he would try drawing a penguin for her] Are they your favorites?

[clearities]

Mmmhm. You know, there's a story that if you make a teddy bear and it's named after you when you give it to them... then the person you give it to you, then they'll always return your love.

[relieable]

[...he looks enlightened by this story, eyes lighting up]

Haa? Really? [a pause, then he looks less bright-eyed and more devious] Maybe I should give Totoko-chan one!

[clearities]

It really works! I've tried it before, so I can guarantee it.

[relieable]

... [he suddenly leans forward, eyes wide]

Sakura-chan! Can you teach me how to make a teddy bear?! [Osomatsu, concentrate on one project at a time!]

[clearities]

Hoeeee...!!

[ There's a surprised squeak from Sakura when he suddenly leans in close like that, completely caught off guard. ]

Um, I don't mind, but... I don't know if they have the materials for it, here.

[relieable]

[YAAAAY he's going to make the best teddy bear for his beloved Totoko-chan!

...record scratch] Oh... Oh, yeah. Didn't see a fabric store here.
