Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

[He has no right to sound happy about any of this.]

To dry from... [Before she can finish the question, she shakes her head.] Never mind, I don't even want to know.

[If she looked sour before, it increases at his next words; she crosses her arms and fixes him with a glare.]

I have a name, and it's not lovely lady.

[That being said, she's not offering it out just yet.]

[Perhaps he's re-evaluating his manners--]

...I don't think you even tried at all.

[Incredibly deadpan.]

[With a sigh:]

Natalie. Why were those your first guesses...?

It’s easy enough to find the answer—

[Her expression shifts to something that makes it look as though she's just tasted something sour, but she speaks not soon after.]

You realize that sounds kind of creepy, right?

Ehh? Does it?

[He seems amused, rather than concerned though.]

Well... I’ve been called much worse I think.

[robitussin]

[She gives him a deadeyed stare, frowning slightly.]

That isn't something you should bring up in casual conversation.

Oh?

But fear not—! I’ve never gotten a complaint from a client before!

[......at least not personally he hasn’t.

...That's nice, but I'm not a client, so I can complain all I want.
