Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

[Just grabs the huge box and gOD LORD IT IS HEAVY but this is fine, he’s got it. Onward and upward!]

[Sorry, Dazai, she'd be no help even if she tried. She's 13 and you could probably break her in half if you poked her hard enough, heavy lifting is not her forte.

She bolts her way up the stairs, and waits mostly patiently (bouncing on your toes is patient, right?) in front of the door to Room 18 for Dazai. Once he catches up, she'll open the door and hold it for him. What a polite little menace.

As promised, her room is littered with plushies and dolls. Some of them have been somewhat neatly piled into a corner for some reason, but the others are strewn about the bed and floor like a tornado hit the room.]

[How kind. That makes his job easier. At least, the getting in part. There is still the mess of plushies to contend with but; even with his sight impeded by the box, he still manages to avoid stepping on them.]

[He gives praise to the sea of plushies and dolls.

[As soon as Dazai's in, Millium scrambles to get to work "sorting" the mess into two piles.

There is no actual sorting involved, but she is making two distinct piles that are maybe starting to take some sort of vague shape as seats against the wall.

[As the “thrones” are assembled, room opens up. He can set down the box of supplies in the center and merrily sit on... in??? His throne of plushies with a gleeful smile.]

[She says, flopping back cheerily into her own.]

It's nice, though. Too many people here are waaaay too concerned with being [and she puts on airs for this] "dignified."
