Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

No, it’s just that everyone knows Pikachu.

[He shrugs.]

I never played the games. I used to have a card of Charmander that I traded for as a kid, though. Didn’t really get big into the whole thing.

[It’s kind of hard to when you don’t have much money.]

[Well, that gets him looking thoughtful.] You mean to say you only know Pokemon from a game? You've never seen a real one?

Yeah? They're fictional.

...fictional. [This looks like the first thing he really has trouble wrapping his head around.]

[burgerprince]

Yeah.

[He squints.]

You're not gonna tell me that they're real for you now, are you?

[silvertongueheir]

Indeed they are. Though I suppose I would understand if you disbelieved me.

[burgerprince]

[He scoffs.]

You know what- at this point, I'l take it.

[silvertongueheir]

[A slight chuckle.] I am glad to hear that. It would get tiring to have to constantly prove myself.

[burgerprince]

Okay, so-

[He has to ask. He just has to.]

Which ones do you have?

[silvertongueheir]

Well, there's Gerard, my starter, of course. I hatched him as an Archen, and he has finally reached his true potential. And Mathilde, my Farfetch'd. She's skilled with all sorts of weapons, and she acts as a mentor to Minke, a Vivillion. He may be a Bug-type and considered flimsy, but that does not mean he is incompetent. There's also Elise, the Altaria. Her voice is dazzling, as is her skill in battle. And Arend, a Rufflet and the newest member of the team. He will be most impressive once he evolves, I am sure.

Woah, slow down. I don't know any of the new ones.

Farfetch'd, though. Farfetch'd is cool.

[silvertongueheir]

[He smiles.] I pity those who underestimate her. I have not been keeping track, but she's stolen many a weapon from our enemies.
