Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

Nice. If I managed it I could save on the commute. Though getting a car would be nice, just dump my shit in there and haul if there's anything like last week's fire again...That doesn't happen often round here right?

Good, I see too much of that stuff back home. I'll be happy just assuming someone's car had a leak or something.

That's what I hope too, frankly... But I'm really sure nothing else like that'll happen.

Same. At least the police seem pretty decent here, not a waste a time. You know?

Aw yeah, I've known most of them my whole life, you know? They're good folk.

Whoa, where I'm from everyone's a stranger. Now I feel like I'm intruding. I gotta save up enough to move on... This travelling things a lot harder than it sounds on paper.

No one's intruding on nothin', you know? We're all happy, to have a bunch of travelers here.

Is it good for business then? I know a few places that love tourists. [He smirks a bit.]

It's a bit more welcoming here though.

Well, yeah... Good for business, but it's also just nice to see other perspectives, I think.
