Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

Mmm...[Yeah he takes a look at the ceiling and starts prowling back the exit.]

Little thing like you might be able to get further up. But I'll probably just go through the floor... Shame, it'd be useful if they're planning on just kicking to the kerb.

...Oh! You think so? Maybe we'd find something that would help us!

[streetwolf]

They said the cards'll run out of money at some point. I doubt they'll let us stay in the motel after that. I think this place has had it though. Might be something salvageable upstairs but getting to it...

[clearities]

Do you think we should prepare to camp outside, just in case...? [ That is, if they do wind up running out of money. ] Maybe we could work together to find out how to get up there, though.

[streetwolf]

Maybe? Getting some supplies together while we can is a good idea.

... If you want to upstairs, I think you might want to try a ladder. I'm not sure how steady the stairs'll be. But it's not worth the building falling on you.

[clearities]

A ladder... ah! Maybe we can ask the firefighters if we could borrow one! I mean. If it's okay...

[streetwolf]

They might ask too many questions about that. Or block us from getting in all together. I get the feeling we're not supposed to be inside here.

[clearities]

...Ah! T-T-Then-- maybe I should leave!

[streetwolf]

[It gets a bark of laughter.]

You didn't think they'd let people just go inside somewhere dangerous like this, right?

[clearities]

I'd at least think that they would have put up a 'keep out' sign or something...!!

[streetwolf]

[She's getting a heavy hand clamp down on her head, when he reaches to ruffle it.]

They probably have faith in people keeping out of the building that might collapse.

[clearities]

... You think so?

[streetwolf]

Well, yeah. How many people are going to willingly go somewhere dangerous?

[clearities]

Not... a lot.

[ But apparently Sakura goes to dangerous places quite a bit, so. ]

[streetwolf]

Exactly. So lets get out of here... Careful of the glass.

[He's making sure she gets out first though.]

[clearities]

... Okay, I will. You be careful too, okay?

[streetwolf]

Yeah, yeah. I've lived in worse. Come on...

[And he's off.]
