WEEK 1: April 2nd - April 6th

Peace Week
Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

[Welcome to the peace week! This week there won't be a murder nor a task. Enjoy the peace while it lasts! If you want to contact the Sergeant, please post here!]

Inelegant, yes. But somehow, I doubt he has an affinity towards elegance...considering the whole murder thing.

[He nods.] And from what I've seen of his attitude, even in private, he certainly doesn't seem the type.

Oh? What, pray tell, have you seen of him behind closed doors? The only conversation I had with the man indictated that he has terrible taste in wine.
silvertongueheir: (I always knew)

I suppose that contributes to your judgement of his elegance? [Though it's said in a more teasing tone.]

He is loathe to share actual details about the tasks he wants us to do or exactly which of our personal items he has locked up. Though he has implied that is due to a restriction of some sort he is under.

...I feel that is valid.

That’s - a restriction. Is it possibly he’s working under someone?
silvertongueheir: (What kind of ride)

It's possible. [Franciscus leans forward, looking thoughtful, his wine forgotten for now.] He certainly implied that he could be punished, so he must have a superior who can assign such punishments.

So he’s a goon! A mere enforcer! Merely playing up a role - one of falsehood!

I would not put it in such extreme terms, but it does seem like he is not the only obstacle to an escape.

Then we’ll just have to figure out who the man behind the curtain is then, hm?

Probably somewhere in the Lodge, if he is in this town. The Sergeant keeps watch there most often, after all.
