Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

But- that's not - [This kid is barely above Jellybean's age and he has no idea how to begin to talk to her. He takes a breath, trying to calm down.] He's one man. He can be stopped.

I think he can be stopped, too. But... he also said that he was following orders from someone else, if I'm remembering correctly. So he might not be working alone.

[burgerprince]

'Who watches the watchmen?'

[Jughead rests back against his seat. A good mystery was never bad to find, but under these circumstances he's not so sure about it. If he made it out of this alive, at least he'd have one hell of a novel afterwards.]

So there's someone bigger and badder out there behind the scenes. It's still just another person, in the end.

[clearities]

Yeah, but... we don't know who they are, though. And why they're doing this. Or if it is just one person behind the Sergeant-san.

[Jughead holds up his notebook, and gives it a small wave.]

I’ll work on that.

[It’s no promise of an answer, but he’s gonna try his damn hardest. For both his integrity as an investigative journalist and for the others’ sake.]

You will? Really? If everyone's going to work their hardest... then I have to, too.

You just work hard on staying out of trouble, ok?

I will.
