Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

Like I said... he sent the Princess and Rean home, although I know they didn't help with what he asked, and they didn't kill anyone.

But neither did Sakura, and she's still here, too. So I dunno if it has anything to do with listening to what he says or not.

[HMMMM. Osomatsu does not like this. he continues to glare for a little while longer, spinning his wheels. then he finally sighs, links his fingers behind his head]

Maaaan. It's all really scary. The more I hear, the more I don't like. I'm not used to this shit. Nothing like this ever happens at home. [it's all fun and gags and horrible innuendos]

[She admits that with a sigh, like it's some kind of horrible secret.]

Tell you the truth, this is all kinda new to me, too. Even when Gramps had me infiltrating Class VII, I wasn't ever supposed to go n' kill anyone. I don't think I like missions like this.

But...

If I learned anything from school, it's that people can make really awesome things happen when they work together. So maybe... we just gotta do that here, too, y'know?

[he turns to look at her, surprised by her words, but also kind of amused]

Y'mean the optimism, approach? [a shrug] I guess we could try it. I wouldn't be opposed to working with the rest of the people who were brought here.

S'better than just sittin' around and crying and making your eyes hurt for no good reason, isn't it?

It's something. If we all just sit here n' give up, we may as well count ourselves out already.

[Osomatsu nods]

Yeah, you've gotta point. If there's a way we can get home, we should look for it! [he's not the most motivated man, but he knows how to give it his all. on occasion] I'll do what I can!

Hehe... maybe there's something to Rean's cheesy speeches after all. I guess I oughta practice.
