Peace Week

Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!

If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.

It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!

This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

And if they want their money back, I guess they'll have to fight me for it.

If someone's stupid enough they'll still pull it. [Shrug. But Wayne only cares about two people here, what are the chances?]

Good luck with that. I don't think anyones managed to get that far.

I'm not saying it's foolproof, Wayne.

[But there is a pause here. A drop in hostility now that they're not arguing about this gun situation.]

The Sergeant said if none of us killed, that he'd be forced to get creative. Is that why someone killed last time?

[Guess who was at the meeting, but said absolutely nothing because they hate group environments.]

I don't think anything would be. People'll always have fists even if you take everything else away. Seen it before. [The employment centre fights seemed more vicious than the gang ones sometimes.]

...I don't know. From what I got there was a fight. One ran away after getting hurt and the other chased them with a saw. It seems a bit excessive when there was a least one gun there.
