WEEK 3: April 15th - April 19th

Third Week

The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.

Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.

Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.

It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

[ Definitely buried. His fingers brush against something hard and metal. Looks like whoever buried it didn't even try to get it more than a few inches under. Sheesh! ]

[ Good thing you have an earth guy here! Bolin sees what Osomatsu is doing and pipes up ]

Is something buried there? I can probably dig it up.

[ Osomatsu's going to town on digging it up, the shovels ignored, but you can surely help as well! Maybe make sure his hands don't get all covered in dirt. ]

[um... what? he sets aside the shovel and starts digging more furiously, using his hands. he hopes to uncover more of... whatever this is, moving from one side, to the other]

[ Perfectly good shovels and an earthbender around, and you use your hands? Osomatsu, honestly...

In any case, he'll dig up a sizable metal box, not that heavy but long across, comparable to a shoe box, for knee-high boots. ]

[it's more fun this way! like he's uncovering treasure. he holds up the box triumphantly, like he solved the whole goddamn puzzle himself]

Guys, look!

It's a box.

[unimpressed]

What are you gonna do with it?

[she lives to knock the wind out of people's sails]

Are you going to open it, Osomatsu-san?

Ooh!

[Looks like this box has lightened Millium's mood from the lack of popcorn.]

Open it, open it!!

O-oh! Right! [he looks down at the box, then begins feeling around on it.

is there a way to open it?]

[ Easily! It's not even locked. A bit of fumbling and he can open it right up...

...revealing several cans of spray paint, and a note. ]

[he really did find a treasure. he looks at all the contents of the box first. are the spray cans empty? and then he looks at the note]

[ The spray cans are full!

The note reads:

"For expressing yourself in this dreary place.
Give the inside of the refinery a makeover."

Kind of straight-forward, isn't it? ]

[he stands up and reads the note aloud to everyone, still holding the box and the spray cans]

I guess we're supposed to... tag the inside of the building?
