Week 4: Investigation

A late frost has settled over Cartesio. Ice clings to the grass, to the variety show stage, not yet melted by the sun. How could it be, as it's yet to rise Friday morning?

It is only technically Friday, as the planned variety show reaches into its very final hour. Nearly everything on the schedule's been completed, and the cleanup process has begun.

That's probably why no one expects it, not now. Not this early. It's hard to miss, whether you're attending the show or getting some rest. After all, the sound, it comes from somewhere close to the motel. Somewhere close to the show.

Three gun shots ring out at one in the morning, echoing through the park. Something has gone very wrong.

[There's a moment that passes in silence. The wolf trots off to smell around the area.]

... I see. The froth.. might have been from the poison. I'm sure we'll hear more about it at the trial.

[There's a pause as he looks over the counter to look for a tape measure or something.]

Yeah... we probably will.

[ looks around the pharmacy to see if there’s anything else that’s off about it ]

[Assuming he is able to find something they can take measurements with, he'll turn to Bolin again.]

Hey. What was the motive this week?

[HE UH. KIND OF MISSED THAT MEETING ENTIRELY.]

[ ........keith ]

Uh, it was the chance to be immortal.

No really.

[A MAN IS DEAD. Is this really the time to be joking around!! Keith's going to start heading to the door so they can all go re-check these mysterious footprints. Cosmo's following for more scent tracking.]

I’m serious! That was the motive this week!

[following after him because there’s nothing else really off inside the pharmacy from what he could tell ]

...How is he going to do that?

[So measuring tape / ruler / whatever in hand -- let's go re-examine those footprints, folks! How large are these footprints looking? Any of them decently preserved enough to get a good estimate?]

[ Whoever made them sort of walked all over the set to the pharmacy, but they all seem to be the same size. If you compare to your own footprints, they seem around the same size, maybe a little bitter. ]

[tuffguy]

Beats me, probably with the same power he used to threaten our loved ones before?

[telling you now that the footprints are heading towards the park too ]
