The peaceful times are over. Moloch von Zinzer was murdered, and Nine was sentenced as his murderer. Everyone in Cartesio knows that.
Although life goes on, it seems the town of Cartesio isn't going to forget the tourists' transgressions. Not only they commited larceny in the cinema, they also murdered and executed in their town! It's no surprise their hospitality towards the visitors has cooled down considerably.
Not only they're maintaining a tense cordiality with them, they also have started talking behind the visitors' backs. All kinds of rumors are starting to sprout, yet nobody seems to be willing to say it to the tourists' faces. Talking directly to most passerby makes them distrustful, and nobody seems to want to be in close quarters alone with them.
It's only matter of time before the relationship between tourists and Cartesio starts degrading even further.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

Got the other cameras too?
[Keith's moving in, armor flash light on. What's the inside of the refinery looking like?]
Did that note say where to spray paint?
[Anyone??]

[CHRIST SARGE WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS....]
no subject
he's got red. you want red, too, Keith?]
no subject
[Red's a mighty fine color, heck yeah.
He doesn't actually have his own can of spray paint cuz uh... he saw a fence and just... kinda climbed it to scope things out while everyone else was crowded around the buried box. Hrm.]
no subject
Here! [he tosses the spray can to Keith because he wants to go help those magic earth and plant people]
no subject
Thanks.
[Finally, he'll actually holster the gun and give the can an extra shake for good measure. He turns to face the wall and... you know what? Despite everything, all the breaking and entering, snooping around and whatnot? Keith isn't exactly big on vandalism for the sake of vandalism and he's at a tiny bit of a loss of what he's even supposed to be spray painting here.
In fact, he just kinda... ends up holding the nozzle on the can down for about five seconds, spray painting the exact same spot on the wall without moving his arm or anything.
That's it. That's his masterpiece.]

In any case. Along with the pipes, Keith will notice a few things are kind of strange in here.
Most notably, there are catwalks above them but they all seem to lead to nowhere? Like someone neatly cut them, rotated them, and just set them back. They just stay there, perfectly undisturbed, even though they probably shouldn't work like that. ]
no subject
[He's just going to shine the light up overhead for everyone to see these Escher catwalks.
There anyway to climb up to them to see what up/take a closer look?]
no subject
However... There's some wenches and a display that matches the layout of the catwalks, right in front of it. Maybe you can do something with this? ]
no subject
He's going to head to the display to see what to do here to try and presumably move the catwalks so that he can get up the stairs and then walk across to the other side.
Tapping the display. Tapping a wench. Let's see how you're supposed to move this stuff around.]

And at the end of the catwalks, a large machine.
Looks like the implication is clear.
One of the wrenches has a note:
Get it done, leave the building, and I'll take you back]
no subject
Time to head that way and take a closer look at the machine!]

Seems to be a rather important part of the interior of the refinery. No wonder you're being told to do this]
