Fourth Week

A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?

Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.

The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:

The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.

In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and the maps have been updated once again.

Food makes people more willing to talk. I know a pretty good pizza joint, and I thought...

[He turns around to lift a few pizza boxes that were out of sight. When he does, everyone can see a note pinned to his back. Looks like he didn't realize that was there:

Robert tries to hand her the pile of pizza boxes]

I got a bit of everything, I hope you'll find a good one.

[clearities]

[ ..... well guess who's going to be completely contrary as she lets out a sigh. ] It's okay. [ Sakura relaxes her shoulders a bit, however. ] But you said you know a good pizza joint? Where is it? [ Curiosity killed the cat, after all. ] But if you don't mind, I wouldn't mind eating with you and talking. If you'd like.

I'd like that!

[Hospitality, nice! Although at the question, he hesitates]

I'm not sure I should tell you all. The places you have visited don't really stay intact, and it's a really good joint...I'd hate to see it destroyed.

[clearities]

Don't worry, mister. If it's good food, I'm sure that nobody would want to destroy it. Why would anyone want to destroy a place with good food, right? [ Right? But also... ] Do you need a place to sit? Or any other help with the pizza? [ If you brought a lot, then. He might need help with that. ]

[cartesio]

...I hope you're right...I'll see if I send you a pamphlet someday.

[He doesn't seem convinced.

[clearities]

I hope so, too. I'll try to make sure... I'll try to stop people from destroying things if I see it. [ Try being the key word here. But just. Give her a moment to lean the broom she was holding onto the wall before she does assist with the pizza. Hopefully there's a table to put these around?? ]

[just mouths “don’t you dare” to everyone while his back is still turned tbh]

I mean, someone has to be thoughtful.

[He shakes his head. Reminder this man doesn't really have the best opinion of everyone because of the stuff during the last two weeks!

...I don’t blame you for feeling that way. But I promise, we’re as angry as you are about what’s been happening. This has to be the most beautiful town I’ve ever seen, and it breaks my heart that it’s been damaged. I promise, everyone you’re looking at right now is as upset at the very few number that have been causing harm.

[A soft smile.]

[cartesio]

[He looks at Natalie from over his glasses]

...not to sound rude, but are you...are you trying to kiss my ass?

[You sure laid the sweetness and courtesy on thick, Natalie]

[screams internally]

I just want to repay the courtesy you’ve already shown us.

Gerard likes any with fish. [Franciscus figures he should make his own preferences clear first.] Well, thank you for that. It's a good incentive.

There's one with a ton of anchovies!

[Nice, have some, Gerard! Robert doesn't seem afraid of Gerard, at least]

Really, it does seem convenient that this flavor is less preferred. That means more for him, after all. [Gerard apparently understands the word "anchovies," because he leans forward with a happy chirp, leaning forward to try and nuzzle Robert's cheek.]

[cartesio]

[Being nuzzled by an ancient Pokemon is an experience someone doesn't have often, you know. Which is why Robert, after a moment of being startled, vigorously pets Gerard's head]

Cool! Nice to know that's what your...your...dinosaur likes.

...do I want to know why there's a dinosaur in here?

[Squinting at this not on Robert's back. He's just going to approach.]

[Time to yank the note off and hold it up to the guy's face.]

[Robert steps back because wow, Keith, that's rude! He reads it]

...what's that supposed to be?

[Looks like he can read it, yup]

[Look buddy, he said "excuse me" and everything, what else do you want.]

...A note?

[Great. More of this "selective vision" bullshit.]

What do you think it is?

[cartesio]

Something about giving a bad impression. [He doesn't sound too happy about it. He frowns] Is it some sort of prank?

[carbide]

[Olympia's going to... try not to do this? Yes she's a horrifying uncanny valley abomination but maybe she can come across as a friendly one.

Time to help with the pizza boxes. That's an awful lot of pizza for one little Sakura.]

Which would you recommend?

[cartesio]

There's one with a lot of cheese on it! It's all goeey and warm and it's wonderful. You should give it a try!

[Thumbs-up!]

She takes a bite.]

[And almost immediately smiles widely.]

This is the best pizza I've ever had!

[It's the only pizza she's ever had. And she doesn't have a sense of taste.]

[He seems very pleased to hear that]

Finally, someone who's harmless. I have always thought someone who likes pizza can't be a bad person.
