Sunday must have been exhausting for you, maybe even upsetting. A new town, new faces and a an ominous order from a man without a face... who wouldn't be a little frightened? Hopefully, all of that is forgotten when you climb out from under your blankets this fine Monday. Rise and shine! A new morning is a new start!
If you make your way to the lounge, you will find a few copies of the local newspaper provided for your perusal. Once you go outdoors, you'll find the weather forecast 100% accurate. It's pretty impressive.
It seems that quiet mornings like this are going to be your everyday life now. Maybe you should see this whole stay as a vacation? Go out and explore the town, meet your fellow motel guests and meet the townspeople. They're sure to welcome you with a smile!
This week's special in the diner is lemon pie made with love (and a top-secret recipe)

Some npc bothering
Around midday he stops at the abandoned building though. Going round the back to get inside. He doesn't go too far in, keeping within running distance of his entrance. ]
This place is a lot worse than I remembered it… Didn’t think the fire got this far…
[It's only mumbling and he pauses looking back over his shoulder when he hears someone approach.
Once it starts to get dark he heads to the Tavern. Not to drink, just to talk. It's not Rose's place or the blackmarket but there has to be some gossip here. So he settles at the bar, and starts badgering the bartender. Waving the debt card. ]
Just some juice. You know of any jobs going round for when this thing runs out?
[Even if that doesn't work he can eavesdrop. Drunk guys are dumb. He even tries the darts board for a bit. Some throws are amazing and some are so far off its a surprise no one got hit.
He'll head back to the motel… At some point.

Hey there, man. Ohh, ya know, I think the local oil refinery'd have some openings. It had an expansion recently.

I guess the fire'd explain that. I was hoping it'd be usable...

[ She frowns a little bit. While she isn't all that familiar with what a fire can and can't do-- kind of funny, given that she does have fire magic-- the fact that the floor tiles are cracks seems to imply more than just fire happening here. ]

It's probably really dangerous to be in here...

Little thing like you might be able to get further up. But I'll probably just go through the floor... Shame, it'd be useful if they're planning on just kicking to the kerb.
