A second murder shook the town of Cartesio. Clarisse's ambush plan ended with Katsuki Bakugou's death. Now what?
Nothing to be done other than continuing their life and watch what happens. After two weeks, after the deaths they have seen, it's hard to think there's a way out. The only option is to wait for the right chance to turn the tables and see a weak point in the Sergeant's plans -- and hopefully not see any murders.
The townspeople's attitude towards the tourists soured even more. The destruction of the church was much worse than anything they had seen so far, and they ran out of patience. People who in the past were nice and wanted nothing more than to make the tourists happy now aren't afraid of saying to their faces what's what. Random pedestrians shout at the visitors, telling them to stop being criminals. Although there are a few who have more patience than the rest, general opinion is clear:
The tourists are nuisances, to say the least.
In the lobby of the motel there's a few more brochures, and
the maps have been updated once again.

NEWSPAPER - APRIL 26TH
[The moment you take the newspaper, you realize it's much thicker than usual. Unfolding it will show most of it is dedicated to the visitors' interview.
'THE TOURISTS SPEAK. MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS'
[In middle there's a very large photo. None of the visitors look friendly at all -- even Sakura looks unusually hostile. Must have been the lighting of the motel lobby, no doubt.
The photo has a footnote: 'The tourists engage in shady activities']
As promised, this reporter decided to get to the bottom of the mystery that's tormented Cartesio during the last month. What are the tourists doing in Cartesio? What are their plans? Will we continue being plagued by their crimes and almost complete disregard for civility?
After talking to them, all we can say for certain is that they're not trustworthy.
[Welp. That's unfortunate. Here are several snippets of the very long article]
*(There's a photo of Dabi, smiling at the camera. Looks rather unsettling) The visitors with unusual skills refuse to show their abilities unless they involve causing damage to the town at large.
*The visitors repeatedly accused the person known as the Sergeant as the mastermind behind their actions, while at the same time were unable to provide any concrete proof. What was offered was not conclusive. Further efforts shall be done to find out more.
*The Sergeant's comment when contacted was categorical, he denied any involvement with the visitors, and claimed to feel hurt he's being used as the scapegoat in their quest for the destruction of this town.
*In the face of testimonies and evidence, the visitors resorted to flagrant attempts to do guilt trips and try to look as innocent as possible. This suggests an inability to refute any accusations, especially when backed by tangible proof and the testimony of several of our peers. Of special interest was Millium Orion, thirteen year old orphan with dubious motives, who attempted to ellicit sympathy. Her lead was followed by a few other visitors. Could Millium Orion be the mastermind behind this group?
*They claim to seek justice for the murders, but they did not specify the reason why they're murdering each other in the first place -- other than to blame the Sergeant once again. Is there any truth in these statements? You be the judge.
*When asked to return the sign taken from the cinema, they were unable to give it back, citing the Sergeant as the cause of this inability. When interviewed, the Sergeant denied having the sign, and this reporter didn't see it anywhere in the Lodge when he was allowed to examine the entire building.
[In all fairness, the entirety of the tourists' words was printed, without any omissions. Looks like Robert's intent was to leave it up to the townspeople to decide what to think. The problem is that without any proof, the tourists' words seem more like defamation and slander than a real argument in their defense.
Overall, this article does no favors to the tourists. If you try to find Robert, you won't be able to find him.
Also, the next morning, a recording device is sent to the motel. It's of better quality than expected]]

Welp. Good job, Keet. Looks like I took your spot as Public Enemy Number One...

Don't worry, I'll protect you, Mastermind.
[A bit more seriously:]
I was never Public Enemy Number One -- that was Katsuki.

Thank you, my loyal and devoted servant.
[And a bit more seriously, too, she frowns.]
...I dunno. I think by the time he got there, they... couldn't really do much to 'im, anymore. But you're still here... and so'm I.
[Sigh.]
Man. You get revenge for your friend one time...

It only gets as bad as a few days in jail and dirty looks everywhere you go.
[A beat.]
Did revenge make you feel any better?

[Kino's got some time to kill before they need to prepare for the talent show. So, the traveler can be found seated at one of the chairs in the lobby, slumped such to stare up at the ceiling. Upon noticing others around however, there's one of those faint smiles.]
Do you have a moment? I was just thinking... It might be nice to swap stories.
[Kino is getting bored.]
no subject
[ Well. It's not that she's not willing to talk about home, but...ah, it's fine. Kino's pretty nice, and she did say swap stories, so. ]
I suppose that would be fine. What sort of stories are you looking to hear?
no subject
[Kino might. Be getting a little desperate, even if the tone gives nothing much away.]
no subject
[ She's...definitely got a lot of stories, but so many of them are subject to that goddamned curse. ]

When he was talkin' to Cian, he said something about court paperwork.
Didn't one of the songs on the haunted jukebox talk about papers?

[Kino has to pause a second to try to recall.]
Something like... "go get those papers?"
[A. A lot happened that night and Kino still isn't sure what they did in the end.]
You think those could be it?
